Our take
This monitor hits the sweet spot for budget gaming. The 165Hz refresh rate and 1ms response make for smooth gameplay, and AMD FreeSync Premium eliminates tearing. The VA panel offers good contrast, though viewing angles are typical of VA. The 23.8-inch size is good for desk setups. 1080p resolution is fine for this size. The matte finish reduces reflections. My only gripe is the brightness at 250 nits, which is a bit low for bright rooms. Overall, excellent value for fast-paced gaming.
